7th ELTE Workshop for Arts Education
IMPROVISATION AND CREATIVITY IN ARTS EDUCATION
On 27-28 June 2024 we invite artists, educators, and researchers of music education, visual arts and design, dance and drama, and child / youth culture to meet in the “Trefort Garden”, Budapest, and present or listen to research papers, creative workshops, and cultural programs.
The organizer of the event is the Institute of Arts Communication and Music, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Faculty of Humanities. The conference will focus on two key elements of modern arts education: creativity and improvisation.
Major topics of the conference: empirical, theoretical, and historical research reports, presentations of proven and tested ‘good practices’.
The aim of the conference is to share and discuss results of arts education through thematic symposia and presentations.
We welcome everyone from all fields of arts education in the Heart of Budapest.
Important dates in 2024
08 January: start of the submission of abstracts for presentations and posters
26 April: deadline of submissions
20 May: notification of acceptance / rejection
05 May: deadline for early-bird registration.
24 May: all authors of papers and posters should register by this time
27-28 June: 7th ELTE Workshop for Arts Education
30 August: submission of full texts for the conference book
